Ajay Barma has many years of experience in working with all types of clients with special needs and has extensive experience in administration of the rehab departments. He has worked with organizations like Fulton and Birchwood Nursing Homes, Better Health Care, Dominion Health and Fitness, and Anchor/Flagship Rehabilitation. His strengths are: excellent report writing for ADR reviews, marketing and promoting healthcare services, planning programs and achieving set targets, analyzing problems and working out implementation strategies, and evaluating health interventions and healthcare programs. He is also an excellent clinician and is an instant hit with all kids who come to him for therapy. |

Ms. Bethany Rubinstein, M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist |

Bethany earned her Bachelors of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Old Dominion University in 2003 and her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from Florida State University in 2006. Bethany’s past work experience includes speech and language therapy in a variety of settings including the schools, outpatient private clinics, and utilizing the parent coaching model through Infant and Toddler Connection. Bethany provided treatment to clients ranging in age frominfant to adults with disorders in the areas of speech and/or language, specifically targeting articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, processing deficits, and pragmatic language disorders. Bethany has also provided early intervention services in the area ofpediatric feeding. Currently, Bethany holds certificates in PROMPT and SOS Feeding Therapy. Bethany is excited to join Sensational Kids Therapy Services at their Woodbridge and Fredericksburg locations. |

Has been in the field of ABA as a Supervisor and Behavior Facilitator since 2005. She has completed her Bachelor's in Psychology from University of Maryland University College, Adelphi, MD in 2006. She completed her Master's Counselling with a concentration in ABA from NOVA Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2011. She became Board Certified in Behavior Anallysis (BCBA) in May 2013. |

Ruth Ann Barnes |

We are excited to have Ruth Ann Barnes join us here at Sensational Kidz. She comes with 30 years experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. Ruth Ann is experienced in working with infants, pre-schoolers, school aged speech and language disorders. She has a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, and a Master's of Science from James Madison University. Ruth Ann also had experience working with adults with speech difficulties due to neurological etiologies. Ruth Ann also enjoys working with parents and sharing how to reinforce skills at home. Her expertise includes articulation, apraxia, and parent training. Her past experience includes public schools, early intervention, adult rehab and teaching at the University level. She signs cues and is experienced in using visual phonics . She has vast experience with dysphasia, apraxia, articulation disorders,developmental language delays as well as working with children with Autism and hearing impairments! She enjoys providing services to infant and toddlers and pairing with parents to assist them in facilitating language at home. We are thrilled to have Ruth Ann joining our team. |
